The House of Romi Gold
⟡Self-expression is never frivolous, always fabulous.⟡
Romi Gold’s showroom is now open in Charleston, inside a Greek Revival building built in 1839, a space as layered and storied as the pieces it holds. It’s a legacy I know well: taking a space and turning it into a destination is simply what the women in my family do. Private appointments begin July 15th, where Romi Gold expands beyond jewelry to include curated occasion-wear and accessories: a full experience for collectors, brides and creatives seeking pieces as rare as they are expressive.
Romi Gold exists to prove that style is substance. Every piece we curate carries history into the present, meant to be worn, remembered, and celebrated.
And always remember: self-expression is never frivolous, always fabulous.
Retail has always been in my DNA, behind the counter of my grandmother’s and mother’s shops before I was old enough to reach them, where I learned that the best of it is theater, every detail deliberate. That instinct for finding and placing beauty never left me.
Parsons taught me design. New York taught me style. Both remain cornerstones of Romi Gold, and the city continues to feed the brand today with its energy, culture, and irreverent glamour.
The name Romi Gold comes from my own Hebrew name, Romi, and over time, she’s become something more than a namesake. Romi Gold is a persona as much as a brand: the version of yourself that self-expression, and the right vintage piece, can unlock. She’s proof that the right piece doesn’t just dress you, it reveals the best version of you.
Romi Gold began as a passion for curating vintage jewelry, trunk shows and pop-ups scattered across New York and abroad, work that eventually found its way into the pages of The New York Times. That same instinct for discovery has only deepened since: today it takes me to markets abroad, antique shows, and the private collections of collectors themselves, along with ateliers and warehouses most people never see. My eye leans toward old-world glamour, curated costume jewelry with real presence, and pieces that carry a point of view. Personality-driven dressing is the whole philosophy: if you love it, wear it.
